Men's signet rings are rings with a flat or shaped face on top, traditionally carved with a family crest or initials and now worn as a bold everyday style. The signets here come in stainless steel and titanium with round, square, oval and hexagonal faces, plus stone, compass, animal, saint and cross designs.
A signet ring has a raised face on the band. Historically it was pressed into wax to seal letters. Today it is chosen for its shape and its face, from a plain polished top to a carved emblem.
| Face type | Examples in this range | Suits |
|---|---|---|
| Plain or polished | Titanium, Classic Noir, Hexon | Everyday, minimal style |
| Stone | Tiger eye, jasper, turquoise, abalone shell | Color and texture |
| Emblem | Compass, St. Michael, Saint Christopher, cross | A meaningful symbol |
| Animal and skull | Wolf, lion, eagle, skull | A statement look |
Traditionally the little finger of the non-dominant hand, though many men now wear one on the ring finger. See smaller styles in Men's Pinky Rings, skull faces in Men's Skull Rings, or browse all Men's Rings.
A signet ring is defined by its flat or shaped face, while a pinky ring is defined by the finger it is worn on. Many pinky rings are small signets, but a signet can be worn on any finger, most often the ring finger or the little finger.
It depends on the metal and the size of the face. Titanium signets stay light even with a wide face, while stainless steel signets feel noticeably heavier and more solid. Larger faces add weight too, so check the details on each product page.
Snug enough that the face stays centered on top of the finger. A loose signet tends to spin and tip to one side, so choose a close fit and measure the exact finger you will wear it on, because fingers on each hand differ in size.
