Are all rings built to last?

No. When you buy a wedding ring you expect it to last, but the metal, any inlay and any plating all change how a ring looks after years of wear.

Why do gold and white gold rings wear quickly?

Gold is a soft metal. White gold is usually plated with rhodium to give it a bright shine, and both are soft, so white gold rings can bend, dent and scratch more easily than harder metals and can turn dull, especially on a men’s ring worn every day.

How long does plating last?

Many of our popular designs use ion plating for their color. Plating can scratch, scuff or fade over time, especially with harsh chemicals, hand sanitizer and heavy work, while the tungsten or titanium underneath stays strong.
